These Royals will ruin you…

From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

She might be right.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

My Review:

After surviving the cliffhanger in book #1 – kind of – and creating crazy theories about Ella, Reed and company, Broken Prince came to save me from my PRD (Post-Reading Depression) and to literally take me out of my misery. Yes, misery, because it is not possible to anyone in their right mind to be fine after reading Paper Princess. What could I have done to forget this HUGE cliffhanger??? Nothing, I tell you! IT.WAS.NOT.POSSIBLE!!!

“To be taken out of my misery” was what I expected, but, even though Broken Prince answers A LOT of questions, it also brings so many more questions, and questions even worse than the last ones. So, when I finished it I couldn’t even begin to process my thoughts.

Our blog received this book a month before the release date. It was an honor to receive this ARC and theexcitement I felt to finally be able to read it was unexplainable. But, although it has been a while since I read it, I still can’t forget it or start to explain this book. So much so that writing this review was very hard. I decided to publish this review just now not only to be closer to the release date, but also because I wanted to try to put my ideas in place.

The second book in The Royals series by Erin Watt (a.k.a Elle Kennedy and Jen Frederick) finally brings Reed’s POV – the bastard who almost killed me! -, and will help us understand this complex and full of conflicts family.

Broken Prince emphasizes the authors idea about the main plot. In this book, the drama is very tangible and we can see more clearly how the Royals family is dysfunctional. The more mature-theme, the family conflicts and Ella & Reed break up – after she run away – make the book even more addictive.

The narrative here is much more dynamic, and added with a plot that involves secrets, drama and suspense, this book makes us go through all its pages waiting for something bigger. And believe me, it happens and it will be better than you can imagine.

What a book! What a perfect wonderful book! What a very well prepared and developed plot! I’m speechless…I’m exploding in words! Words and feelings that overflow with love for this book, for these characters, for these authors who captivated my heart.

I just want to take Paper Princess and Broken Prince and reread them again and again and again…forever. I want them on my bookshelf! I want them published in my country!!! What I really want is Twisted Palace though!!!

What do you do when you are faced with one of the best books you have ever read in your whole life BUT the story is not over yet? What do you do while waiting for the sequel to be release in October? I am ruined until then!!!

I have not a single doubt this book will break new records, just as Paper Princess did, reigning in the best sellers list! It totally deserves to!

So, certain that many other surprises await for me, for us, in the third part of this amazing series, I say so long to the Royals, assured that they will ruin our hearts for sure, but it will be glorious!
