Erin Watt
Release: 17/10/2016

These Royals will ruin you…

From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.

Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.

Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.

No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all.
They may be right.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.

My Review:

Since April when I was introduced to this series I longed for this book.  I finished the book one in such agony that just wondered how I was survive knowing that I still had two more books ahead of me. If the first book left me in agony, the second just left me worried, however, a little more calm.

The last book of a series is always a problem, because we created a lot of crazy ideas. Readers expect a lot for the completion and the authors seek to surpass our expectations. And Twisted Palace goes through this situation.

The anguish with I which finished Broken Prince remained until the end of this book, because if there’s one thing Jen and Elle know do with mastery, is torture us.

But let’s cut to the Chase. What about Reed?

Oh, Reed?! This boy got into a such mess. After accumulating enemies during his lifetime, the hero finds himself in a complex net that points him as the main suspect for a crime. Although we know for sure that he is innocent (at least I knew for sure), the siege was closing in a very disturbing way, that looked like nothing good would happen.

While the defense tries to exonerate him at all costs, Ella will have to face her past resurfaces in the worse moment. A new life was introduced and the girl had to be strong again.

Drama, lots of drama is what you got, dear reader. Twited Palace promises to leave you eager and with a breathtaking finale. After all, Elle and Jen are experts in live us chocked with surprises. And believe me, this book still have good cards up in the sleeve.

A good thriller, but what about a little romance? Yes, the romance is there. Ella and Reed will continue to go through a lot of trouble, yet their love is strong and highly tested. There is no truce for those two.

And in a mixture of race against time and who is the real killer, the authors worked to keep the characters on the line and develop a atmosphere of police investigation. After all, nothing like seeing the fall of the one who’s got the power, right?! And poor Reed ended up being the chosen.

I didn’t think it was the best book in the series, in various situations had many obvious situations, some characters could have been better used, but in the end, it was worth all the agony. I’m sure The Royals is one of my favorite series of life, and I just look forward to more books from these authors.

Thanks for the ARC Elle, Jen and, of course, Nina for trust in our work.
