Bountiful (True North #4)
Release Date: October, 20th
No last names. No life stories. Those were the rules.
Once upon a time a cocky, copper-haired tourist sauntered into Zara’s bar. And even though she knew better, Zara indulged in a cure for the small-town blues. It was supposed to be an uncomplicated fling—a few sizzling weeks before he went back to his life, and she moved on.
Until an accidental pregnancy changed her life.
Two years later, she’s made peace with the notion that Dave No-Last-Name will never be found. Until one summer day when he walks into her coffee shop, leveling her with the same hot smile that always renders her defenseless.
Dave Beringer has never forgotten the intense month he spent with prickly Zara. Their nights together were the first true intimacy he’d ever experienced. But the discovery of his child is the shock of a lifetime, and his ugly past puts relationships and family out of reach.
Or does it? Vermont’s countryside has a way of nurturing even tortured souls. The fields and the orchards—and hard won love—are Bountiful.
Sarina Bowen comes to truly close this series with a golden key. It was a book I was expecting. And the way the Brooklin Bruisers series was linked with this series surprised me and totally hooked me. From the first book we met Zara, Griffin’s ex who became Audrey’s best friend. I had become very curious about her mysterious pregnancy and knew there was something promising there.
And I was not mistaken, because in this story came simply the best book in the series. Do you know those books that you read with a silly smile on your face all the time? Those you can’t stop and finish with a heart full of love? This is exactly the case. So I totally recommend it to anyone who loves a cute romance as well as all the other books in the series.
Zara has always been a strong, fierce character. When she found herself pregnant, her life took a turn and she was forced to take action to take the reins of her life. She finally gets her own business, and her daughter turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to her.
Dave is successful in his hockey career, but because of his dysfunctional family he does not want to know about relationships. But a certain girl with whom he had a quick romance two years before never left his mind. When he finally manages to return to Vermont and find Zara again, he takes the biggest shock of his life.
I am very passionate about these stories that involve children because they always captivate us and give us a very touching story. Sarina again shows me why she is my favorite author, for she always conquers me and I never miss the opportunity to point her out to everyone. Read it, read it. Unfortunately it has not been published in Brazil but whoever has the opportunity, do not miss it.
